Furnishings & Decoration

Our Full-Service Design package is most popular with clients who lead busy lives and don’t have the time or interest to oversee the details of a home-decorating project.  Beginning with a design concept, we will take care of everything to provide you with a turnkey beautiful customized and stylish space.

We begin with an initial consultation in your home to discuss your ideas, needs and goals for the project.  We learn about your design likes and dislikes such as style and colors.  We establish a project timeline and a preliminary budget.

Here’s where the scope of the project, priorities, process and fee structure are defined and outlined so we move forward in unison.  Good communication and partnership with you and our team is the key to getting your dream space on time and on budget.

Next, we will conduct a full measure and photo documentation of the space.  We evaluate the conditions and challenges so we can address them from the start.

We inventory and measure any furnishings and accessories that will be used in the new design.  (We love integrating family heirlooms and special possessions into our designs.  We believe it is what makes a space special and personal.)

We develop space-planning schematics and make the initial material selections.  We present our concepts to you with scaled renderings, conceptual photos and sample materials so you can start imagining your new space.

Once you approve the initial concept, we refine the plan and move into the details of the design such as sourcing and selecting furniture, fabrics, window treatments, wall finishes, carpets, lighting, hardware, cabinetry and accessories.

Once the elements of the design are approved, we move to the procurement phase.  We order material reserves, request cuttings for approval, and ensure all of the order details are addressed.  You will receive a proposal with all of the items and known associated costs. (Freight/Shipping are usually billed separately.)  After you have approved and paid for them, the ordering begins.  We then manage and coordinate the delivery, inspection and any post-delivery issues that may arise.

The final phase is when the vision becomes a beautiful reality.  We oversee the positioning of all furniture and if you choose, we fully style and accessorize.  Then it is time for you to begin enjoying your new, customized space.
